Who / what / why
where / how

Wallless is dedicated to promoting visual artists and projects in West Michigan and to illuminating and celebrating the "how / what / why" of making a living as an independent visual artist. Wallless is the evolution of a project I started in 2012 -- Craft House Gallery, a small white-cube-style exhibition space that was located on the Avenue for the Arts in downtown Grand Rapids, MI until May 2016. Without the limitations of the physical gallery space I can better serve my community by covering a wider variety of artists and projects, specially those outside major institutions, though I love a quality museum show! Best of all, I can ask the hard questions and provide a critical analysis. Want to know what's happening here, and why and how? You're in the right place.
